Manager/Supervisor
A growing logistics company is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to lead and improve warehouse and fulfillment operations across multiple customer accounts.
This position is ideal for a warehouse leader who has experience managing 3PL or fulfillment operations, developing customer-specific SOPs, improving inventory accuracy, and driving operational excellence on the warehouse floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping
  • Lead a warehouse team of approximately 12 employees
  • Develop, implement, and enforce customer-specific SOPs
  • Improve inventory accuracy, picking quality, shipping accuracy, and on-time performance
  • Monitor and improve warehouse KPIs and productivity metrics
  • Train, coach, and develop warehouse staff
  • Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions
  • Work directly on the warehouse floor to support process improvements and operational consistency
  • Partner with customers and internal teams to meet service requirements
  • Visit the Elgin warehouse location 2–3 times per week as needed
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of warehouse management experience
  • 3PL, fulfillment, or multi-customer warehouse experience strongly preferred
  • Proven experience improving warehouse processes, quality, and operational performance
  • Experience developing and managing SOPs
  • Strong knowledge of WMS systems and inventory control
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
  • Hands-on management style with the ability to lead from the warehouse floor
  • Experience managing KPIs related to inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, and service levels
Compensation & Benefits
  • $70,000–75,000 annual salary (Exempt)
  • Mileage reimbursement for travel between Wood Dale and Elgin
